An Australian native creeping fern, ideally suited to wet soil where the four-leaved clover-like leaves stand upright. They can also float on the water surface when plants are submerged to 30cm deep. It is very drought tolerant in areas where there is only seasonal flooding. It grows in full sun to shade. The spore cases or fruit have been ground into a flour & used by aborigines. |
