Showy grass grown for its decorative, upright foliage.
The leaves emerge green at the base with tips flushed blood-red. The vivid
red colour increases in Summer and is at its maximum in Autumn. Grows
best in full sun in moist, fertile soil. Will tolerate drought once established.
Plant in groups for instant colour effect. Cut back to ground level before
Winter. Frost tolerant.
